Description
Hello darling, delighted to meet you. Here’s the knitty gritty:
The basics:
- How tall am I? 40cm
-
How many stems do I have? 4
-
What colour am I? Yellow
Where do I come from?
I’m not entirely sure, but I do know I’m part of the Helichrysum genus so my family’s species is one of around 600 from places as flabbergastingly extravagant as Madagascar.
What do I look like?
My admirers tell me I look like the sun because I am always glowing and add warmth wherever I go. I’ve also been told I look good enough to eat! Apparently my fringed outer petals resemble honeycomb to some.
What do I feel like?
A pleasure to touch – not at all delicate, so there’s no need to worry I’ll crumble and fall apart in your arms like some fragile little thing. However I am of course exceptionally feminine, with intricate petal layering that could teach a daisy a thing or two.
What will I be wearing?
I like to travel in comfort, so tissue paper is of the utmost importance. Then kraft paper for a more secure outer layer, before I enjoy the journey over to you in the security of my favourite cardboard box.
